David Wickenden
PT, Master of MT, FAAOMPT
David, or “Kiwi Dave” as he is affectionately known by his friends and colleagues, is the owner of Kiwi Physical Therapy and brings over 15 years of study and experience to his practice. He studied Physical Education at Otago University and Physiotherapy at Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. He also holds a Masters of Manual Therapy degree from Curtin University in Australia.
David has a broad range of experience in patient care, having worked within several practice areas, including acute care, rehabilitation, sports medicine, orthopedic and geriatric care. A former international boxing champion, David competed at the Commonwealth Games, representing New Zealand. He has also played rugby for 30 years and is a member of the coaching staff for Old Blue Rugby Club.
